All of the RSS feed (blog post titles and the first few words) from here go to @cindykilkenny. All the stuff from FC goes to @fairconservativ. I keep @cindykilkenny up and follow a few people – believe me, a very few people in Twitterspeak. A few (again, emphasis on few) people follow the feed from these blogs.
To be honest, I don’t Tweet as much as lurk. I’m not a good one to limit to 140 characters.
There are those who do it very well, though. I thought I’d share my favorite for the day from @MKEmxp:
BREAKING: Obama lands in Milwaukee. Lunchtime dessert to include Danish Kringle in effort to avoid custard stand.
And that’s pretty much what it does for me. I get little laugh breaks throughout the day providetweet a few one-liners. I retweet some of the travel stuff I’m starting to read.
Social media is here to stay. I talk to my family more thanks to Fad by some very witty folks. I also get a daily horoscope courtesy of one of the other people I follow. I recebook. I laugh more thanks to Twitter. I keep up with friends far and wide thanks to the new level of connectivity that we enjoy.
Anyone else remember long distance phone calls at $1/minute to keep in touch?
Well, Thank you. And for the official record, I tweeted that BEFORE Obama made it to Racine for a kringle.
