Don’t buy it!
Yes, I gushed over the plain loaf the other day. That’s why I’m so surprised this stuff is inedible. As in it’s going back to the store.
First, the garlic flavor is obviously a powdered garlic, not the tender cloves that were included in the brand this replaces. Also, they put a “spanish paprika” in it that leaves it tasting stale.
Blech. You’ve been warned.
I have got to be honest. Except for staples, I’m not a Roundys man anymore. All my meats/seafood, bakery and deli are Graschs or Sendiks. I’ve been disappointed with Pick’N Save and MetroMarket offerings on the aforementioned items.
Funny bdad, I just sent them an e-mail saying I’d buy canned goods there, but was kind of done otherwise.
