When I went in to pick up more copies of the youngest’s senior pictures today the Walgreen’s clerk gave me a funny look.
“I’m not supposed to let you do that,” she said. “Technically that’s the photograper’s copyright. We aren’t supposed to let you make copies.”
“No problem,” I beamed. “I took these.”
I don’t think she believed me, but I was still pleased with the confusion.
First the plank hold and now this – you ARE having a stellar day! Fantastic!
Well thank you Miss Pat. I always appreciate your vibrancy.
You can do so many things well. I am glad that you are finally realizing it!
(Blush.) You are my mother, but thank you.
Most professional photographers actually have a watermark on their prints that’s only seen if you copy it or enlarge it in any way. That’s what happened when I tried to enlarge a copy of my school photo on my computer, and when we took it to Walgreen’s, the same thing happened.
Interesting you mentioned Walgreen’s doing that. I took some pics over a period of time at some concerts and used WG’s on line site to develope them later when I returned home. I went to pick them up and was refused.
So I returned to the site, used another Walgreen’s about a mile from the first and picked up my pics two hours later. I assume some of the clerk’s didn’t get the memo.
I will say Walgreen’s does a great job with their on-line photo site.
She may be your mother, and she is RIGHT!
