Because there’s nothing to tell you! But sure as I type those words, you all will come up with something new. So how about you tell me this time?

I worked on Son No. 2′s closet this afternoon. It’s now all strung out across his old room, the upstairs hallway, the downstairs hallway, and parts of the garage including the trashcans. Let’s just admit the child was incredibly efficient at packing a closet. (Where in the world would he have learned that?)
Biggest score of the afternoon: a piece of chain to attach to the ceiling fan. I can reach it now!
It’s the simple things, folks.
Oh, and I found three sets of walkie talkies. Three sets! Plus there was a whole stash of Nintendo GameBoy stuff including several Pokemon games. Let’s just say to the closet cleaner go the spoils.
(You know, if I sat down and did the math, there’s probably the GDP of a small nation that came out of that closet this afternoon when using original cost.)

I need two twin comforters. Or matelasse bedspreads. Or matching quilts. Oh Frugal Design Girl, where does one go to find such things? I feel the need for an intervention. I’ve already exhausted Target, Kohls, and Kmart, and even Marshall’s! I’m completely tapped out.
(Mom, like the air conditioner which arrives tomorrow, I am committed to having this project finished by the time you get here. You are going to be soooooo grateful you don’t have to sleep in the youngest’s room this time. I’m considering calling a hazmat team for the youngest’s room, actually. It might be best if you let that closed door remain closed.)

Just because I’m quiet doesn’t mean I don’t want to hear from you. Chime in. Maybe you, too, can use a double negative ineffectively.
You have been busy! I am working on a closet today but I will have to finish it tomorrow.
For the comforters/covers try Bed, Bath and Beyond; Tuesday Morning; or TJ Maxx. Oh, I almost forgot – Penney’s. There was a 20% off coupon that came in the mail yesterday from Bed, Bath and Beyond, too.
You’re right! I got one from BB&B. I love the way they will let those coupons last forever. I’ll give that a try this weekend.
you sound like someone who needs a trip to IKEA…f’real.
Never forget Penneys. Especially on line. I find almost anything there. Sounds like you are busy! I am looking forward to our visit.
You can try Bed, Bath & Beyond with a 20% off coupon, Land’s End, L.L. Bean or the Factory Store online…
Scrolled down to suggest BB&B, but saw that other beat me to it!
I’m disappointed at today’s major radio changes. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, turn on 97.3 once.
Anthony – 97.3 is now ruined in my opinion. They never said a word about it on Thursday when I was listening either. Seems they’re like all the other pop stations now.
Also, 106.9 is not smooth jazz any longer either.
We listen to 88.9. It’s the youngest’s fault.
