Last Sunday the kids surprised me with tulips for Mother’s Day brunch. The red ones were a little droopy this morning, so I pulled them out and added lilacs. I will confess, the lilacs are a bit towards the end of their time, too, but I managed to find enough from the bush to make it all worthwhile.
