I was all set to tell you about my best May Day ever, but it dawned on me I’d already done that. When I was cleaning out the back room a few months ago, I found the lily of the valley bouquet I’d saved. I guess I really liked it.

Still no lily of the valley for me. However! The neighbor planted a few around the shared mailbox and they are now scooting across the yard. Go figure. A certain someone mows over those breeching the determined area.

I have to put on real shoes and wear makeup tonight. I’m not sure I like the idea, but since I had fun at farmer’s market and already took my nap, I guess I’ll quit complaining and think about getting ready.
