Kathryn Ruby passed away last Sunday at the age of 99.

I’m stepping out on a limb here, but if Jake Ruby happens to see this, I want him to know how very much I admire the dedication he gave to his mother. I’m pretty sure he promised her she would be able to die at home. He worked very hard to let that happen.

Kathryn Ruby watched this corner of Wisconsin change for nearly 100 years. What an amazing gift.
