Pre-election campaign finance reports should be in. Wouldn’t it be nice if a real reporter were to let us know how the money was flowing with our mayoral candidates? I’m thinking it’s much lower than years past, but we’ll see. (Or not if they don’t come through.)
On the one hand, there’s no lazy reporter sitting in the mayor’s office waiting for to pick off the opposition with a bit of yellow journalism. On the other: there’s really no news at all. That makes it a mayoral race unlike any in a dozen years.
