There’s a second announcement this week of senior apartments being proposed in the City of Brookfield. Senior apartments are often subsidized and generate much less tax revenue. We also have lots and lots of empty senior apartments in our area thanks to the entrepreneurial genius of Vince Kuttemperoor and squishy backbone of Brookfield’s Common Council.

Brookfield has spent more than a hundred thousand dollars on land use consultation. I don’t think those apartment buildings are in the land plan.
