Several weeks ago I mentioned I was cleaning up my online act. Dozens of ads, etc., were unsubscribed. I also went through and dumped a bunch of stuff I was reading through an RSS reader.
This morning I dumped a bunch more.
I had kept a few folks on thinking it made sense to know what the latest babble was in the political world. This morning I caught myself thinking, “What an idiot!” when reading one lefty writer’s morning blurb.
Why in the world would I want to poison my morning with such stuff?
So that’s that. Drying out has been hard at times, but I can honestly say, there’s not all that much I can think of to write about politically. I mean, with Tommy Thompson doing a Brett Favre look alike there will be fodder for months, but how many times would one want to write “He Will!” or “He Won’t!” And the health care baloney is beyond reason. Someone fell down the rabbit’s hole and is living in a rather alternate universe if you ask me.
No, the only thing that’s marginally interesting right now is our local mayoral race. I might have a little something more on that later today.
