Ok, someone else just e-mailed and wondered exactly how we’re supposed to survive without Fairly Conservative. The comment went something along the lines of if she wants to talk Cheerios, she can do that at home.
Was it a bad idea to shut it down? I know everyone thinks it was because of the lawsuit, but it wasn’t. I suppose if we really wanted to, we could consider going again.
I confess I miss it more that I expected.
Now 1) realize that I’m still not feeling great and that might be influencing my thinking, and 2) I didn’t say I would start it up again, but asked if we should.
Let me know.
I just think you choose are really crummy time to stop it – what with the mayoral race, the school board races, high speed rail. So many issues!
Nah, there will always be something! Whew. That’s not a compelling enough argument to start it back up.
Next?
Wherever you go, go with all your heart. ~Confucius
Just go with what your heart tells you.
That makes more sense. My heart says it was time to get out. I think it’s just all the down time I’ve had this week. Too much time on the computer brought back old habits.
Yes
I must admit is was great entertainment
Hmmm. I’m not sure how to take that. Oh, well. I could always e-mail you a joke a day.
I liked the fact that you were able to give a perspective that we were not able to get by reading what the newspapers had on the subject.
An inside approach to the subject at hand.
That is what I miss, but I also understand you needing to move on.
I understand moving on, but I’m not sure that this travel website is a replacement for what you did at FC. I mean, why not both?
I guess i’m just one of those people who doesn’t give up things unless I need to.
Both has crossed my mind.
One of my goals was to get rid of creepy stalker guy, but it doesn’t look like that worked. So maybe I just go back and do it anyway? I think I’ll give myself through Easter and then decide.
Maybe you could make it a weekly event and not take things so very seriously. It was interesting but I enjoy your fun side too.
That is a good idea. FC could be like a Sunday morning talk show or something. That reminds me of the podcast idea. Might be a decent compromise.
Yeah, and this whole Cindykilkenny.com is kind of a personality cult. Maybe creepy stalker guy DID win.
Well, he didn’t completely win, but I can’t go into the details. Interesting perspective on the personality cult. I think of it more as a big kitchen coffee klatch.
Sorry Randy. That one word answer found the spam filter. Ok, Randy says it was a mistake to shut it down.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh yes! That is where I went for the rest of the local story and for other timely information and opinions that are rarely available in the news media. I would “bet” that even Mark Belling misses it!
Hey, I like the weekly podcast idea.
You could be like Uncle Jay Explains! http://unclejayexplains.com/
Of course, I’m kidding a bit with the Uncle Jay thing. However, a weekly roundup so to speak might feed your political passion and keep your followers happy as well.
“my followers” (giggle)
Ok, time for coffee and thinking…
