Well I spent the day rewinding the lives of three children. Around noon I was really frustrated because I could find a lot for #1 (of course) and a good chunk of #3 (there is considerable evidence she at least used to like me
) and not much at all for #2.
I was so bummed about the gap I called him.
Maybe he is the most pragmatic of the three. He explained it didn’t really matter, he wouldn’t likely keep track of it himself. Later in the afternoon, though, I found another box placed away from the others, and there were his first years.
The adventure successfully recovered three baby books; three sets of hospital wrist bands, three chunks of first hair cuts, and various hand prints and foot prints. In short, mission accomplished. I need to scrounge up a couple of more storage containers and label them, and then I’m done.
I guess it surprises me how poorly I kept all this arranged. I’m usually pretty good at managing stuff, but this time I really didn’t do a great job at all. Not to worry, it all ended up well in the end.
Three big kids. Just how did that happen?
