A tickle in my nose has become a threatening cold. I have arranged for various witchcraft (the term in my household for all manner of immune support) and am hoping to survive. I’ve beat most of them back this season, so I have my fingers crossed.
I do feel badly for those I shared my germs with in church this morning. At that point I thought I was just looking at indoor allergies from another round of dust letting. Oh, well…

Since I’m not good for bounding around the house managing the piles of stuff this afternoon, I’ve been playing with the new Web site. I get really close to thinking I’m ready to nail down a design, and then I wimp out.
This same problem plagues me when it comes to decorating. After all, there are dozens of styles and colors I can picture in my environment. Committing to just a few means limits. I don’t like limits.
Maybe I should design a site with a dynamic color scheme. You’d never know what you’re getting. Nah. The goal is simple. K.I.S.S. is my motto. The content will be the focus. (Chant. Chant. Chant.)
Anyway, it beats lugging stuff to the basement or the recycling bin.

A book club buddy dropped off a copy of Still Alice this afternoon. I am completely paranoid about this book. My mind is about all I’ve ever been able to count on. I can’t imagine my memories and thinking fading away.
To make it all better, I cheated. I read the epilogue. Well? It went ok, so now I know the book can’t be that scary.
The book is under 300 pages, so it shouldn’t be too cumbersome.

That’s it for now. I need to go plug this thing in and let it charge a bit.
I hope your weekend has been what you hoped.
