(Admittedly, I am failing in my goal to walk away from politics. But darn it! I didn’t see ANYONE ELSE talk about this last week!)
Obama used a teleprompter to give an education speech to a bunch of 6th graders on the 19th. No, really. Go read it at Atlas Shrugs.
It simply amazes me how the media buys into this type of grandstanding. I know the speech was televised. Not one of them showed the teleprompter.
We’re being sold something very different than the packaging describes.

Since you brought up something political…I have a more local question regarding business and perhaps there is some politics involved as well. Why is the gas station in Elm Grove Village closed? It hasn’t been functional for weeks. I saw this in the Journal Sentinel and am wondering if there is a connection? http://www.jsonline.com/watchdog/noquarter/82527522.html
Do you know anything?

I don’t. But I very rarely end up in Elm Grove.
Anyone else?

Withdrawal is hell.

I really didn’t expect it to be this hard. Guess I was more of a junkie than I’d admit.

You can always do a Bobby Ewing and we’ll all assume it was just a dream.

Oh, I came very close last night, Randy. Very close indeed.
Would I have to do the shower scene?

Absolutely…
A bit of trivia–did you know that Larry Hagman (JR) was the only cast member who knew of the ‘dream’ until it aired. Victoria Principal had filmed the scene with another actor on the show and had no idea until she saw it on TV. She called Patrick Duffy in shock to find out what was going on.
I suspect if given the opportunity there are those in Washington who would like the past month or so to have been a dream.

Good trivia.
I suppose I am really dating myself to even admit to this discussion. Maybe I just had a really good memory for a five-year-old.
