I thought those were pretty cool too. Word works, too! And, there’s always Kinko’s. http://www.fedex.com/us/office/copyprint/presentations/index.html Are you typing everything in yourself or do you have a scanner? I wonder if you scanned if you could add frames or borders around the recipe? Do you have an iMac? I know that mine can do a boatload of stuff…more than I am familiar with yet. I did make a cool book for my MIL after we were on vacation with her for a week. I sent the layout that I used on iPhoto to Apple and in a week had a terrific book. She just loved it! We also used iMovie to turn the kids music concerts at school last year into quite a professional looking DVD with transitions, credits, etc. Very, very fun!!!!
You know, I think that’s part of the frustration. I know I could manage a “boat load” of stuff to improve the appearance, but right now I think I’ll be content to have them typed.
Maybe and update with photos in a couple of years? It’s only 30 recipes for now.
It is very fun. I really thrive on being able to put this kind of thing together. I do believe I need to leave myself a little more time for the next attempt!
Maybe the receivers of this cookbook should take photos after they’ve made the recipes and then you can update it with those in a few years – fun! With all the different fonts (and clip art available to import if you chose it) your treasure will work out great. It’s so nice to have a collection like this passed down. I have all the loose recipes from my mom and to have them in one spot would be grand. Gee, now maybe I need to work on something like this…

Oooh. Cool stuff! It looks a little more involved than I thought I’d go for now. I’m looking at doing a booklet in Word!
