I’ve mentioned already on that other blog that I’ve started a new project. It dawned on me this morning I’d better get started on the one I’d already planned.
As such, I’ll be putting together a cookbook as one of the kids’ Christmas presents.
I have a large folder of loose recipes that need to be arranged. Some of these have been ripped out of books; others were internet discoveries that became favorites. One, Grandma Schultz’s Secret Salsa, will be provided just in case. I don’t see my children canning anytime soon.
Still, the offering should provide them with a firm reckoning of their childhood eats.

I’ll get another favorite recipe, apple pie!, up later today. I guess I better pop the pie crust instructions up, too.
