Quiche and Salad

November 22, 2009 at 10:23 pm --by Cindy · 2 Comments

Tonight was an easy dinner. I thought I’d share my favorite quiche recipe.

I used finely chopped red onion instead of green and broccoli instead of ham. It’s the condensed milk that makes this creamy. If you use 2%, the calories are improved. In my experience, skimmed condensed doesn’t thicken up properly.

Gotta love frozen pie crusts!

I loved frozen pie crusts until I discovered how easy it is to make one in a food processor. Much nicer texture than the grocery store variety, but you do have to plan ahead so you can chill it before rolling.
