Well, sort of, anyway.
I have spent the better part of three days trying to arrange the perfect flight, business class for two, using miles. They don’t make it easy. There are now tickets held for the fall of 2010.
I’ve never been to Spain. (But I was born in Oklahoma!) I’m really excited. Boy, is it tough to narrow down an itinerary that’s restful but also fun. It’s too big to do the whole thing, plus there’s Portugal to consider. I can’t decide on Barcelona, either. The one thing I do know is that it’ll need to be a third or half the country, not all of it.
This is a convenient place for you to offer encouraging travel tips if you have them.

Since I have only traveled in the continental U.S. I’m not going to have any encouraging travel tips for you. I hope to someday venture out more! My MIL went to Spain three years ago and loved Portugal – it’s people, it’s food and scenery. She’s such a lover of life and I think she felt that way about everyone she encountered when she was there. So, maybe that’s worth checking out?
