Bruce Springsteen is heading to Milwaukee November 15th. I won’t be there. It’s not just his politics that have hacked me off in the last couple of years. His last four or five albums have been musical regurgitations of Born in the U.S.A. More bubble gum pop than grown-up music.
Sure, I still curl up with Darkness or Greetings from Asbury Park occassionally. But pay real money? I don’t think so.
